We all know that gratitude feels good. And contemporary research is showing that gratitude is an important part of mental health. Grateful people are happier, more satisfied with their lives, and have more positive ways of coping with difficulties. They even sleep better! We have every reason, then, to cultivate feelings of thankfulness.
A Course in Miracles would wholeheartedly agree. It emphasizes the importance of gratitude throughout its pages. At the same time, it raises a key question: What are we grateful for?
